Henry Purcell: Come, Ye Sons Of Art, Away (Vocal Score)

This new edition by Bruce Wood of the University of Wales, is intended to directly compliment the full score included in Purcell Society Volume 24. The piece is an ode to the birthday of Queen Mary, 1694, and is set for Soprano, 2 Counter-Tenor (Alto) and Bass soloists, with SATB and Orchestra. This vocal score features a piano/organ reduction of the orchestral score which also functions as a realisation of the original basso continuo.
