The objective through these exercises is to help the pupil produce a pure resonant tone on clearly enunciated words. The work is divided into four sections; Preparatory Exercises on Vowels and Consonants, Word-Phrases, Intoning Exercises, Song-Studies. It is advised that section 1 should be studied first, exercises should then be selected from the other three sections.
