Ever since the release of The Koln Concert recording on ECM in 1975, there has been a huge demand for a transcription of the piece to be published. Until now Jarrett has refused, as the recording is of a totally improvised concert, but finally, much to the delight of pianists, students, musicologists and many others, he has created and published this authorised edition of the work.
