Giuseppe Verdi: Macbeth (Vocal Score)

Giuseppe Verdi was always fascinated by the plays of Shakespeare and wrote three operas based on them. The music for 'Macbeth', whose libretto is by Francesco Maria Piave and Andrea Maffeiis, is dramatic and very difficult for the singers, particularly the soprano playing Lady Macbeth.
