The compositions in this album have been specially written by eminent composers to mark the Centenary of the House Of Chester, who have had the honour of publishing their works during past years.
Homage is paid to the late Manuel De Falla, so closely associated with the Chester edition, by the reference made to him in the works of the contributors to this book.
