Here is a publication with pretty much every song from my childhood, minus the rude ones! This is a bumper volume full of fantastic nursery rhymes, ditties and fun songs that even the youngest (or oldest!) children will enjoy singing.
The bright colours and striking designs make these pencils a delight as they provide endless hot-handed colour changing fun! In principal these are great for kids but experience tells me that all ages will be compelled to play with them. Personally, I now look forward to writers block!
Perfect for the practice room or classroom, my Quik Time metronome has stood up to the worst I can throw at it - or more accurately anything I’ve dropped on it! The wood block tone cuts through so that even drummers use it to keep time when playing, while the bouncing ball and earphone jack make it useful in a wider range of applications from silent practice to in ear click track for recording. It is not the most programmable or versatile of metronomes, but is accurate and sturdy, making it ideal for sometimes clumsy musicians like myself!
A clear guide with a clarity that might succeed where other methods have failed! Everything in this guide is made as clear as possible by an uncomplicated mix of pictures, fret-board diagrams, notation and tablature. Though this is an effective and complete beginners method, there are no fully playable songs to speak of, so I recommend supplementary repertoire of your choice for light relief!
This budget strap doesn't really stand up to the rigours of live playing or holding bass guitars but isperfect for beginners, bedroom players and smaller, lighter guitar-type instruments.
I have several guitars and basses which I need to be close to hand but out of the way in my small home studio. These wall mounts give me peace of mind and maintain the much needed floor space.
For pub gigs, function bands, cabaret and bedroom bassists this is an indispensible book. There is so much here you may never need another tab book! You can get all these classic tracks pretty readily elsewhere... but not gathered together in such number at such little cost!
There is some noise compared with my most expensive jack leads but it is not unbearable (you can spend a lot more and have the same issue!) These are great value for money – cheap even - and this means I can buy the spares I need for when the jack lead monster comes a-calling!
Adventures in Spontaneous Jamming and Techniques is less of a tutor DVD and more of a close-up and compelling expose of one of the best bass players from the least 20 years. Co-presenter River Phoenix and jam partner Chad Smith really bring the best out of Flea, his frenetic bass playing and banter providing stimulating lessons for the open minded. Even though any tangible lessons are kept to a minimum, with a look at his gear, his style and his influences, Flea’s energy and enthusiasm make this an inspirational and entertaining package.
A great album and a great Tabalture book to match! With Bass thrown in this makes for a really useful folio - it's almost a band score! The Notation legend is also a little more in-depth than in most other songbooks.
