A truly excellent package. The tab is spot on and considering this is Hendrix it's also very clear. The audio CD is great, especially when the tempo is slowed down for easier listening (solos etc). If you wanna play the likes of 'Hey Joe', 'Little Wing' and 'Foxy Lady' accurately, get this book.

I can't think of an easier way to learn songs by such a good guitarist. Everything is broken down into easy to digest sections and Jamie Humphries has certainly chosen the best tracks. You also get an insight into what sort of equipment you could use. This is worth every penny.

Frankly, this is just fantastic. It's like you have Andy Summers actually teaching you! He breaks down everything clearly and concisely and the corresponding tab book is also very good. The section on his years with the Police is excellent and the variety of scales and chords has improved my playing no end. An absolute Gem!

Kick Ass basically. If you wanna improve your shredding skills with some unique tips along the way, get this DVD! It's always fun (and scary) to see Mr Gilbert lighting up the fret board and then showing you how he's actually doing it! The first section is tabbed on screen and the second comes in downloadable PDF Format. Can't enough of it!

If you want to get a good overall feel for playing Police songs, you can't go wrong with this. The tab is easy to read and it is evident that Wolf Marshall knew what he was doing when recording the audio CD. My only beef? Some slower audio to master Andy Summer's harmonic chiming and soloing would have been handy, but all in all, a very good buy.

Apparently edited by Mr Vai himself...enough said! Buy it!

Just like the first edition, this is fantastic. The tab and audio CD are spot on and the attention to detail is amazing. Every song is profiled and I have learnt a lot of new things about Jimi's playing. It's great to hear the likes of 'All Along The Watchtower' played in isolated, slow-mo guitar parts so you can nail it!

Although it's mainly the guitar parts from Crossroads I've studied in depth-which are excellent by the way-the book as a whole is very well tabbed out and doesn't over-complicate things which is unusual considering the nature of Steve Vai's playing. I've bought a few tab books over the last couple of years and this definitely one of the best...Great stuff! Now, if only they'd release Crossroads on Region 2...

Nothing short of spectacular. There are some really tasty licks to get your teeth into here that cover all of Mr Lynch's trademarks: fast alternate-picked runs, multi-string finger tapping, huge stretches and plenty of hammer on and pull off techniques. For any shredder, this is a pure must! BUY IT!
