This collections of song is ideal for the talented amateur. They're a lot of fun and, although most of us cannot aspire to perform them with the panache of Sarah Walker, most people would enjoy learning them and singing them.

I had a very old copy of (almost) all the Songs without Words which had become scruffy and torn. This edition is an almost identical version, with additional late Songs. It is clearly printed and well edited and has works for most skill levels. At a bargain price too!

Although there are plenty of books for 4 hands at one piano, it can be difficult to assess the contents. This book contains a good number of duets by 'classical' composers such as Mozart and Weber, mainly in sonata or variations form.
They are equal ability in primo and secondo parts and suitable for players of roughly Grade 5 and above.

I was looking for background music to play during a wedding breakfast. This album gives a good selection and although I only knew a few of the tunes and am an average pianist (grade 5-6), I could sight-read most of them.
By the way there is another book in this series called the Waldorf collection. Also very good, but maybe a little harder.
