This is an excellent book. The tunes are well thought out increasing in difficulty but certainly not too difficult for the advanced beginner/intermediate student. There is an emphasis on minimum theory and maximum enjoyment and the thing I really love about this book is that even from the first page they make you sound good, which is a credit to Kenny Sultan's teaching method. I consider this book to be on a par with the excellent series from Stefan Grossman and is well worth the money. I will certainly be buying more from this author.
Another wonderful book from a master teacher. Packed full of good sounding tunes, not too difficult for the intermediate student. As usual the instruction is excellent, slow at first and then at normal speed with Kenny's usual emphasis on having fun and enjoying yourself. I can honestly say I was so impressed by the first book/CD I bought, that I have bought them all and have absolutely no regrets.
This DVD and the CD/Book really go hand in hand. The DVD, as Kenny explains, is really to show the technique behind the music and if you want the note by note transcriptions the book is essential. To be honest I always have a problem with DVD's with no tab booklet so I had to have the book too.
The muti angle I must admit is excellent and of course the instruction by Kenny is second to none.
Having said that its an excellent DVD and for the more accomplished player it is a must.
