Forty modern studies for solo Clarinet is a great book and I would definately recommend it to any player of any level. This book will last up to diploma and has some very enjoyable pieces in it. James Rae has written some great songs and has created a great book.

This book has helped me a lot with improving my scales and I would recommend it to anybody! There is a printed fingering chart and note finder in the book and shows you all the notes you will need for grades 1-8. My Clarinet teacher is very pleased with the guality of the book!
