If you hate James Bond this is not for you but the reality is that many of the Bond theme tunes are perfect for trumpet. The CD is only a backing CD but that said the backing music is really good and the arrangements mean that there is something for all standards. With 25 themes in the book this is definitely great value for money. I had to buy a second copy as my nephew 'borrowed' my first one. If there are two little niggles they would be that some of the tunes are quite short and the CD holder is not joined to the cover as with Guest Spot and Take The Lead titles. Other than that its really good and another title that is designed to be played loud, so you'll be shaken and stirred (groan!).

Classic tunes, simple easy arrangements and really good fun to play. If you stop suddenly you're likely to find half the house singing along in the background.

This CD and music is number 1 in my collection. This is a must have for us Blues Brothers fans and the backing CD really creates a great band sound - almost impossible to play at less than very loud. I would say that the range and tempo of the pieces set this book more at the higher end of the intermediate scale. Whilst the tunes are older classics you can't go to a party these days without the DJ playing half of them so everyone will recognise them even if they haven't seen the film! 11 out of 10.

Great fun to play even if the tunes feel over commercialised these days. As usual the CD is excellent and contains two tracks for each tune, one with a trumpet playing and one with just the backing music. Its difficulty is simply around range (top A) rather than keys etc. I have been caught playing this "out of season"!
