A vey useful learning tool for any guitar player without a specifically country background who finds her/himself in the position of having to play fills, lead breaks, riffs, etc of this kind. Clear, concise instruction, with each lick broken down and explained. Well worth the money.
Some useful stuff here - diatonic and tritone chord substitutions - but fairly cursory in terms of ideas for soloing over the changes. Mel Reeves is not particularly engaging as a presenter and his playing leaves plenty to be desired (his style lacks fluidity, and the tone on his guitar is awful).
