This is an absolutely wonderful book - doing exactly what it says on the cover! It is probably not a book for the very beginner but for those who have been playing for a short while and wish to expose themselves to the blues, there is no better source.
Dave Mead continues in his own inimitable way of writing an informative book with wonderful style - in short he makes you actually consider the idea that studying chords might be interesting. Yet as a reference resource/dictionary it is less useful - do be aware that if you are looking up anything much more exotic than the basics it is not likely to be here. Perfect for beginners then but less so for anyone seeking a dictionary.
