Beautiful, minimalist music with haunting melodies. Especially "Le Onde", which was recently used on TV for the John Lewis advert. It looks a bit difficult to start with, but with practice it is worth it, and the tunes themselves provide the motivation to persevere. The only reason I've given it 4 stars is because the whole set is now available in "The best of Ludovici Einaudi" together with 2 other albums, and that is better value.

Excellent collection from Einaudi's various albums. Some can be a little hard, but are worth persevering with. I especially liked "La Nascita Delle Cose Segrete", "Stella del Mattino", "Le Onde" (recently featured on TV with the John Lewis advertisement), "I Giorni" and "I Due Fiumi". Truly relaxing - great chillout music.
