Ah Muse…You either love them or hate them. Well I love 'em, so I bought this guitar book so I could play great tunes such as ‘Muscle Museum’, ‘Showbiz’ and many others. This is a great guitar book, but it’s very difficult. If you’re a beginner, don't buy this, its got some very difficult stuff, and getting the sound correct is also hard. If you’re an experienced player then you'll be fine, but for the less experienced I suggest you get better before attempting this!
This is a brill guitar book with great songs, but having more playing skills will help you alot.
One of the best guitar books. Just a note to people wishing to buy this, the tuning used is drop C which is basically drop D down a step. First put 4 flats on the bottom string but then tune just below that and then put 2 flats on every other string, the way to check is the play the 7th fret on the bottom string and it should sound the same as the 5th string open.
I own three of The Offspring guitar books (Americana, Smash and Conspiracy Of One) and looking through them it's very obvious that their guitar playing has got alot better over the years, Conspiracy Of One has some very very fast playing and huge streches in it, the intro to Original Prankster has you jumping from the 3rd fret on the 6th string to the 7th fret on the 4th string in the fraction of a second and Million Miles Away is very, very fast to play. Another complaint is that the timing is actually very off in places i.e the into to Want You Bad, I suggest that if you want to play some good Offspring stuff get Smash or Americana as they are more reliable books. A bit of a poor effort compared to the quality of the books.
Brilliant, a really good tab book. No mistakes as far as I can tell (apart from the occasional bit of timing, but I'll let it slip). This is a great album and is a lot of fun to play along with. I strongly suggest that you buy it.
This, it has to be said, isn't my favourite Offspring album. It's a great album with great songs but it's got a very pop edge unlike the raw and edgy Smash. This is a very good guitar book with very authentic transcriptions that only have the odd mistake in them, the only thing that annoyed me about it was that the timing was very off at times. It would tell you to play something 3 times when you only play it once other then that this is a very good book and I highly recommend it to everybody.
This is an amazing guitar book for an amazing album, which is obviously The Offsprings best one to date. There are nearly no mistakes in this book at all and the best thing is everything is so easy to play. If you're good at fast moving powerchords then you'll be playing everything out of the book in no time. My only complaint is that they've been a bit lazy with some songs and have put it into rhythm slashes instead of Tab which makes it more difficult to read but other than that this is a great book and I suggest you buy it now, NOW!!!

This is a really good guitar book but I must warn you, if you want to play anything in it you'll have to invest in a higher gauge of strings and be able to tune your guitar to (low to high) A E A D F# B. Just a warning as I do know some people will buy this and then be very disapointed because nothings sounds right.
