Use with The AB Guide To Music Theory Part I and you will succeed.
Easy to use
Well laid out

Easy to follow
great grounding for theory
I use the past exam papers at the end of the book to ensure its all sunk in.

Easy to use alongside the music theory in practice work books, as enables students to work alone too

Pupils use this with The AB Guide To Music Theory Part I and they can work alone at home which speeds up the learning process

I use this book for children aged 6 and over. If they are a younger 6 then they do fun for 10 fingers prior to this and then they whizz through this book giving them confidence.
I also use it for older children and adults as although its a kdis book, most adults appreciate the explanations of music theory

All my pupils, kids and adults love them!
I pretend they are magic.......

Expensive for such a small amount of scales!
Clear to use

Much harder sight reading than London College of Music so start early and it will be fine, use of quavers, but no dotted crotchets.
I start my pupils on sightreading from 6 months of learning, using the pre grade one books so they do not panic on the day!

So cute for kids (and adults too!)

Great choice of repertoire compared to when I did it in 1982.....
Mike Cornick is wicked!
