This is a lovely book for young beginners (I use it with 5 - 7 yr olds). It moves along at a steady pace for them and the inclusion of accompaniments not only makes the simpler tunes sound more interesting but also helps the child develop a feel for the beat.

I have just ordered this book for the first time for a young pupil. She was so excited to see the stickers! I think it will be a great introduction to theory for her(as long as she doesn't expect it always to be so much fun!)

I have just ordered this theory book for the first time. It looks to be as much fun as the other books in the series. I have found that they are a great way to get the younger children interested in theory of music before moving them onto Grade 1 AB level.

This is a lovely book for the younger guitar student. It continues from Book 1 in the same way, moving at a steady pace to develop reading of music and plucking the tunes as well as working on chord playing. I have found that children have been inspired by this to then take up other instruments as it is a fun way of introducing them to notation.
