This is a classic first book for youngsters starting to learn the piano. It starts at the very basics and has them playing tuneful songs by the end of book one. I recommend it for any young beginner starting to learn piano or keyboard to supplement the work they will do in their lessons.

Most will buy this book for the ABRSM exams. There is a nice selection of pieces in this year's syllabus, which can be used for the exam itself but also to provide graded pieces for practice or sight reading for the higher grades.

Most will just use this book for the ABRSM exam but there are some nice catchy tunes and a beautiful piano arrangement of Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight"

This book is full of fun pieces to play and a great introduction to playing Jazz. Pupils enjoy it as a great diversion from exam pieces around grade 1 -2 although some of the pieces are used as C pieces in the ABRSM syllabus

This book contains some popular and well known songs from the shows in an easy piano arrangement with lyrics. Level equivalent to about grade 2-3. Recommended for easy playing or sight reading.

Most will buy this book for the ABRSM exams. Although you need to learn these from memory for the exam it is useful to have all the scales and arpeggios you need written down in one book.

The practice papers are essential familiarisation and practice for anyone taking the exam, and the model answers well worth having either for the teacher to useor for the pupils to check their own answers afterwards (no cheating!)

This is an excellent collection of pieces with something for everyone and also a few of the pieces are in the LCM keyboard syllabus. Being ring-bound it opens completely flat which is a bonus for a keyboard player.
