Although the pieces are simplified to suit beginners, the end result is good enough to please its listeners.
However, novice pianists may need a little longer to get into grips with the grace notes.

A good choice of music from some of the best known Baroque composers. The book also contains one or two pieces by lesser known composers.
However, I feel that music of composers such as Purcell and Dowland should more accurately be described as from the 'Renaissance'era. Perhaps this is a good topic for a future book.

Just as I expected: the book contains many popular works from Handel that are firm favourites. Also useful for more accomplished players- good enough for sight reading excercises.

A nice variety of music that is bound to have something for any lover of film music. I particularly like the 'spacious' look of notes on the pages- they are easy to read, even if the book is some distance away.

A good choice of music to get one's teeth into. As none of the music in the book goes beyond two sharps (or flats, they are comparatively easy to learn. Performance task, too, is comparatively earier, because accidentals are kept to a minimum.
