Expertise: With a diploma in pianoforte from the London College of Music, there is no tune that Mark can't put his hand to. After 24 years of running successful music stores, his expertise is boundless.

Mark is a highly accomplished pianist and organist, he can also play cornet and trumpet to a high level. Outside of work Mark plays semi professionally in a restaurant and has started practicing clarinet and saxophone.

Mark started his retail career at 16 making tea and coffee at Fox's Music.

Expertise: Jon is a self taught keyboard and piano player branching out into the more technical side of instruments. Jon also manages the Print music side of the store and is always available with advice on music or special orders.

Jon enjoys playing the keyboard outside of work, building and fixing PC's and watching classic Sci-fi shows!

Jon was once filmed singing (badly) on a hidden camera show on national television.

Expertise: Paula is a very organised and methodical person making her the brains behind the Sheet Music department. As a clarinet player Paula also covers the woodwind section.

Paula has been playing clarinet for about a year now, and has recently branched out into Saxophone. She still practices at every opportunity outside of work using most of the up to date tutor books available, so she can advise first hand as to what is the best.

Being married to Mark, and being the only female at the Lincoln store, Paula has her work cut out making sure all the guys behave.

Expertise: Bruce studied at Lincolns 'Access to Music' giving him an all round knowledge on most things guitar. Whether its electric, acoustic, bass or banjo, Bruce will point you in the right direction.

When not at work, Bruce writes a lot of his own solo pieces which he performs at several different venues. At a recent battle of the bands contest he was in the final after performing on guitar harmonica and kazoo

Bruce's stage name for all his punk pieces is Brucetality.

Expertise: With a passion for Les Pauls, Drums and very loud rock music, Simon has found his place in our rock department. He can also play some mean bass riffs and oddly enough can also play ukulele! Simon is currently learning to play piano.

Outside of work, Simon plays in local rock band 'Reckless' alongside our other guitarist, Chris. He also has a passion for collecting Guitars and amps, building and painting guitars and modifying his car with excessively loud sound systems!!

Simon's band has a very retro look with pink ties probably to match his blue Gibson SG with pink pickups'nice!

Expertise: With an expertise in guitar and bass with also an in depth knowledge of ukulele and mandolin, Chris will have the answer for nearly anything string related.

Chris, like Simon plays guitar in 'Reckless'. When not working, practicing or gigging, Chris enjoys dabbling with digital recording and watching the odd movie or two.

Chris is the newest member of the Lincoln team and is Fender mad.

Expertise: 'Uncle' Pete works for Musicroom as a part time product specialist once a week. His expertise lie mainly on keyboard and piano but has been known to strum a few chords on guitar too.

As an ex RAF serviceman, Pete loves anything to do with planes, enjoys regular Guinness tasting nights at his local club, and occasionally playing his keyboard at live functions. Pete also builds PC's.

Pete always has a cheery outlook on everything and can usually be found behind the counter telling (bad) jokes to staff and customers alike.
