Grandpa's birthday is on Christmas Day but he doesn't mind because he knows he shares it with someone very special.
As he tells the story to his grand- children we meet Mary and her Joe, a tired old donkey, surprised shepherds, dancing angels, some very confused animals and wise men who get lost. But everyone finds the way to see the baby in the end - even Grandpa, Mum and the children - and they all have a great party.
Grandpa's Special Birthday includes songs that are fun to learn and sing, optional percussion and recorder parts, dances, a simple script and suggestions for performance.
