Warren Bernhardt continues his in-depth study of Jazz fundamentals by introducing the concepts of soloing over familiar Jazz progressions. All aspects of improvisation are discussed including scales, phrasing, using chords in solos and working with typical harmonic structures. Bernhardt also discusses the skills and confidence required to prepare a song to perform with other musicians, and tackles the pressures of getting into your first public improvisations.
