Beskrivelse
This sonata is one of the most intimate of Schubert's works and is permeated with a mysterious serenity. The lyrical first movment is unusually slow for Schubert but never drags. The second movement Andante contains a quiet main theme and episodes that expend from a single rhythmic figure. The Menuetto is full of stately rhythmic energy, and the last movement us a spaciously-soncieved Rondo. This edition is edited by Italian pianist Giuseppe Buonamici.
