Kaija Saariaho's Leino Songs were premiered by Anu Komsi (Soprano) and Pia Värri (Piano) on 9 July 2007 in Kaarle's Church, Kokkola, Finland, as part of the Kokkola Opera Summer Festival and are dedicated to Anu Komsi.

Please note that Leino Songs for Soprano and Piano does not correspond exactly with Saariaho's work of the same name scored for voice and orchestra, and is therefore not suitable for use as a vocal score to that version.
