An excellent arrangement of Debussy's popular and often requested work. In this arrangement the approachable C major key renders the piece, with its waves of arpeggios and flowing triplets, quite readable. The first violin doesn't have all the fun, despite commanding the melody line most of the time. The extensive interplay among the four parts will keep everyone challenged. Well suited to a student quartet trying to expand its 'gig' repertoire.
