Beskrivelse

Leopold Mozart, the father of Wolfgang Amadeus, was born in Augsburg, Bavaria in 1719. First an orchestral violinist, he later became court composer and finally deputy music director to the Archbishop of Salzburg. His Violin Method is still well-known, as is his Musical Sleigh Ride, a popular orchestral piece offered here in a setting for recorder ensemble and percussion.
