Guitar Plus is part of the Guildhall Examinations graded repertoire collection, offering music in an enormous range of styles for guitarists of all ages.
The emphasis with this unique series of books is to present pieces from across all periods of music, allowing the student experience in everything from a Dowland dance and a Bach minuet to pieces by Kabalevsky or even some traditional folk tunes. The aim is to help the student develop a more empirical knowledge of the musical world, along with a wider range of playing techniques and a richer musical imagination. The result is a fruitful repertoire of music to play that remains fresh and exciting for both student and teacher.
These pieces form the requirements of the Guildhall School's graded examinations for Guitar and are between grades 2 and 3 in standard.
