Lullaby (Op. 57, No. 2) was first composed in 1908 for Voice and Piano, with lyrics by Christina Rosssetti. It was transcribed for Cello or Violin and Piano by the famous cellist Charles Warwick Evans (1885-1974) in 1918.
A Folk Tale (Conte Populaire) is scored for Cello and Piano. It is dedicated to Felix Salmond (1888-1962), an English cellist and teacher who enjoyed much success during his lifetime.
