Music Sales’ latest, critically acclaimed app, The Orchestra for iPad, has been included in Apple’s new TV commercial for the iOS tablet.

Designed as an exciting new way to experience the orchestra and orchestral music, The Orchestra app presents 8 of the most important and iconic pieces in the history of classical music through video, sound and interactive features.
View and hear each piece from a number of different perspectives, from the conductor to individual players and sections to the the full ensemble. Users can also switch to a colour-coded top-view of the orchestra that reacts and animates as the music is performed on screen.

Created by Touch Press and the Music Sales Group, in collaboration with world-leading conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen and the Philharmonia Orchestra, the app also offers up a rich library of interviews, in-depth guides and high-quality models of each instrument which you can play with the touch-screen digital keyboard!
Users can also view and interact with digital sheet music for each piece and hear commentary from Salonen himself as the music is performed.
Since its release, The Orchestra app has been praised by reviewers including The Telegraph’s Shane Richmond who awarded the download 5 out of 5.
