World-renowned composer and pianist, Ludovico Einaudi, recently took time out from his hectic UK tour schedule to visit the Music Sales (Musicroom’s parent company) distribution centre in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
Ludovico was performing in the town’s new concert venue on 23rd November and decided that while he was in the area, he would take the opportunity to meet a few more of the people that help to bring his titles to life.
Ludovico first gave a spell-binding performance for the centre’s workforce and a very humble speech, before being treated to a hearty performance of Happy Birthday (yes, it was his birthday) along with a glass of fizz and a cupcake!
Ludovico’s current sell-out tour featuring his new album Divenire, sees him travelling extensively around the UK (as well as other European countries), bringing his music directly to his fans. He has only two UK performances left, one tonight in Leeds, followed by Birmingham on 27th November. He then moves on to Italy, Holland, Belgium, France and Germany, with the tour currently scheduled to end in April 2011.
