Adele helps to bring round seven-year-old coma girl

Singing sensation Adele has been topping the charts and bagging hatfuls of awards over the last year, but has the Someone Like You star just become a medical marvel as well?

A seven-year-old girl recently awoke from a coma after hearing the award winner’s hit Rolling in the Deep from her hospital bed.

Charlotte Neve had been in a week-long coma after suffering a brain haemorrhage and only came round when her mother Leila began singing the number one hit to her.

The haemorrhage left Charlotte in a very perilous condition and unable to speak. After several operations to stop the bleeding, Charlotte slipped into a coma.

Leila was told by doctors to prepare for the worst. As she began to say her final goodbyes, Adele’s hit came on the radio and Leila started to sing along.

To her mother’s surprise and delight, Charlotte started smiling and the youngster has gone on to make a full recovery, walking and talking again.

“It’s a complete miracle. Doctors told me to say goodbye and I thought I was going to lose my little girl. I climbed into her hospital bed to give her a cuddle – she was wired up to machines and unresponsive – and Adele came on the radio,” the elated mother said.

“I started singing it to her because she loves her and we used to sing that song together. Charlotte started smiling and I couldn’t believe it. It was the first time she had reacted to anything since the haemorrhage.”

Have you ever experienced any miraculous musical recoveries?
