Cyril Scott's Lotus Land Op.47 No.1 for solo Piano.
Lullaby (Op. 57, No. 2) was first composed in 1908 for Voice and Piano, with lyrics by Christina Rosssetti. It was transcribed for Cello or Violin and Piano by the famous cellist Charles Warwick Evans (1885-1974) in 1918.
The six Nursery Rhymes For Piano Duet were first published in 1935. Included are arrangements of popular songs such as Polly Put The Kettle On and Yankee Doodle.
Scott's String Quartet No.3 was published in 1960. It was premiered by the Aeolian Quartet in the following year.
String Quartet No.2 was written in 1951, and dedicated to Percy and Ella Grainger. It is recognised as one of his least extravagant, but is a solid work which is underappreciated.
