A very good buy. Backing sounds/arrangements are first class and playing along is so enjoyable! Surprisingly interesting to play as there are some unusual entries and more difficult keys to play in.
Buy this one!

The tunes are quite easy to pick up - I especially liked ‘I Say A Little Prayer For You’ and ‘Heard It Through The Grapevine’ which are also very good arrangements for alto sax and pitched in the right key. With this book you will learn to relax and not panic so much at what look like awkward rhythms - as the sound just seems to come naturally. This book is good for practicing various tone styles that you are thinking of adopting.

I was really looking forward to getting the chance to play from this book but when it arrived, was a little disappointed. Half the tracks are good and half are just so-so. I have played better things, but if you are a real 'Blues Brothers' fan you won't be disappointed.

One of the better books in the Guestspot range. I found it a real treat to be able to play reading the dots and then given a little freedom to improvise. I would thoroughly recommend this book if you are looking for something that is going to take you away from the norm and want to play something that's going to introduce you to jazz improvisation.

I like this book. There are good some excellent arrangements, both for sax and backing tracks. I am especially glad I bought this book as 'Nothing Compares 2 U' doesn't usually feature in these books and is an excellent version to play. A good buy!

A much better book than it's predecessors! I certainly haven't wasted any money buying this book and am regularly playing from it. This is definitely one to buy.

I was a little disappointed with this book. I found it wasn't very taxing and the pieces were a little dull for Latin styles. I Have played better things from Guest Spot. Would love to be more positive - but cannot be.

I'm often playing this in my restaurant and this book gets peoples feet tapping and the music sounds complicated but is really quite easy to learn. Lots of Glenn Miller "Big Band" sounds. One of the better books in my collection.

Surprisingly difficult to play, which is a real plus as most of these type of books tend to be relatively easy. You really feel as if you are entering into new territory when playing. I've had this book for 6 months and am still not able to give a highly polished performance as there is loads to learn!

On first impressions, everything about this book will get you excited to play it. But hold back, as it is not as good as it seems. Most of the saxophone backing tracks leave you feeling let down as the CD arrangements aren't particulary fantastic.
